Friday's fundraiser was a spectacular success!
We had an incredible turnout of
over 100 Sunnyvale residents and supporters, and Bamboo Garden provided a
delightful (and filling) dinner. I would like to thank each and
every one of you for coming out, and also those who could not make it
tonight but were wonderful enough to send your
regards and support. As we come down to the final weeks before the
election, this is the level of dedication that will
surely make the big difference.

A very successful fundraiser was held at the home
of Laura Babcock, Chair of Sunnyvale Planning
Commission, Citizen of the Year, and Chairperson of the Friends of Otto
Lee. This event was attended by a hundred
guests, including Mayor Julia Miller, Vice Mayor Tim Risch, Councilmembers
Fred Fowler, John Howe and Pat Vorreiter,
Assemblymember Manny Diaz, former Mayor Patricia Castillo, and many other
board commissioners, distinguished guests and
community leaders.

Having completed his duties as a Naval Reserve
Officer, Otto Lee
returns to Sunnyvale to continue serving his
community.

Campaign Kickoff Party
On March 1, 2003 from 1-3pm, the campaign
kickoff
of Otto Lee for Sunnyvale City Council Seat #5
was held
at the Fair Oaks Club. Our Mayor Julia Miller,
Vice
Mayor Tim Risch, Councilmember Manny Valerio
(the current
incumbent of Seat#5), Councilmembers Fred
Fowler, John
Howe, and Jack Walker along with many community
leaders,
families and neighbors attended this event.

Otto Lee Recalled by U.S. Navy
In February of 2003, Lieutenant Commander
Otto Lee was
recalled to Active Duty by the U.S. Navy to
serve his
country during OPERATIONS NOBLE EAGLE and IRAQI
FREEDOM.
While performing the full-time duty of supply
logistics and
support for America's aircraft carrier fleet,
Otto has made
time to return to Sunnyvale each week to attend
Planning
Commission meetings and manage his campaign.
