Otto Lee Has Strong Community Support While Running for Sunnyvale City Council

A Fundraising Party was held on July 19, 2003 for Otto Lee, a Chinese American Attorney, who is running
for Sunnyvale City Council open seat #5. People attending the fundraiser included Sunnyvale Mayor
Julia Miller, California State Assemblyman Manny Diaz, Cupertino City Councilmember Dolly Sandoval, and
five other Sunnyvale City Council members.
During the fundraiser, he shared some of his Navy stories and experiences while serving on active duty.
It was a successful fundraiser. His supporters come from a wide range of diverse ethnic backgrounds.
Otto Lee has served on the Sunnyvale Planning Commission for the past five years. At the party, he
demonstrated his strong commitment to serving his community. He said, "I am reachable, I pledge to be
at your service. I will listen to your point of views. Though I cannot, and shall not promise to vote
exactly the way you want me to, I will promise to be a good listener." He also introduced members of
his family, and announced a toll free number to reach him: 888-OTTO-LEE.
