SAN JOSE, CA – Otto Lee’s campaign for Santa Clara County District 3 Supervisor today announced the endorsement of Assemblymembers Evan Low (CA-28) and Marc Berman (CA-24). Low and Berman praised Lee’s dedication to public service and record of leading on environmental issues in addition to his commitment to addressing the root causes of homelessness in his community.

Otto Lee represents everything right with American politics, a true embodiment of the American dream,” said Low. “Immigrating to this country for a better life, working hard to get an education and then dedicating himself through both public and military service to the betterment of his community – Otto Lee represents the America we should all continue to fight for.

Otto also received the endorsement of the San José Mercury News whose editorial board wrote: “Lee is the most thoughtful of the four candidates and has a proven track record on public safety, finances and the environment. Then there’s his independence. When discussing the issues, it’s clear that his first priority is the public good, meaning he can work with business and labor without being beholden to them.”

These endorsements come after announcements from County Supervisor Susan Ellenberg and District Attorney Jeff Rosen announced their support to the Otto Lee for Supervisor 2020 campaign, which has developed impressive momentum leading up to the March 3 Primary.

Otto’s campaign also has the support of the Democratic Party, League of Conservation voters, Congressmember Anna Eshoo, Former US Secretary of Transportation and San José Mayor Norman Mineta, Former Congressman Mike Honda, and dozens of local elected officials. A full list of endorsers is available at ottolee.org/endorsements.

Otto Lee is running for Santa Clara County Supervisor in District 3, which includes North Sunnyvale, Milpitas, and the Alviso, Berryessa, East Foothills, Evergreen & Rosemary Gardens neighborhoods of San José, to continue his lifetime of public service to his community. A veteran, environmentalist, father, immigrant and former Mayor of Sunnyvale, Otto will use his experience to ensure a better Santa Clara County for all residents.
